Eiskaffee

Cold coffee blended with vanilla ice cream and topped whipped cream is the perfect summer treat!

Ingredients

  • 4 scoops Vanilla ice cream
  • 725 ml coffee cold
  • 100 ml heavy cream cold
  • 1 tbsp powdered sugar

Instructions

Make the Whipped Cream

  • In a medium mixing bowl, combine the heavy cream and powdered sugar.
  • Using an electric mixer (can also be done by hand) whisk together the cream and sugar at high speed until stiff peaks form.
  • Place the whipped cream in the fridge to chill while preparing the rest of the Eiskaffee.

Make the Eiskaffee

  • Add 1-2 scoops of ice cream to each glass.
  • Pour the cold coffee into the glasses over the vanilla ice cream, leaving about a 1/2" of space at the top for the whipped cream.
  • Stir 2-3 times.
  • Top each drink with whipped cream and enjoy immediately.

Notes

These should be enjoyed immediately after making them! Make sure to use cold coffee and feel free to adjust the amount of ice cream to taste.  Cold brew or leftover drip coffee will work for this recipe.
